1986年静岡生まれ。幼少期よりガーデニング好きの母の影響で生け花・フラワーアレンジメントなどを通し、植物と触れ合って育つ。 見る・育てる・愛でる・味わう・香る…様々な視点で植物を捉え、企業やクリエイターと研究・開発を行い、植物の可能性を広げる試みを行っています。
世界のどこかに咲く植物を、あなたの隣に。
「植物のある暮らし」と言えば、花束や鉢植えを連想されるかもしれません。
しかし、それが植物の全てではありません。「彼ら」は身の周りに溢れているのです。心和らげるお茶も、愛する人への手紙も、お気に入りのダイニングテーブルも、街を災害から守る自然林も…そう考えれば、わたしたちはもっと植物の力を活用できると思うのです。
あらゆる情報が手に入り、すべてがルール化された今の社会で、偶然の出会いは稀有な存在になりました。気がつけば、人は、自由なはずが「小さな四角い世界」に閉じ込められているのかもしれません。
